Each year, the LBK Garden Club awards grants to tax-exempt organizations whose focus is on gardening and the environment. Grant amounts range from $100 to several thousand dollars at the Garden Club’s discretion. For further information about specific criteria to be considered, please click on the Guidelines link below.

Grant applications must be emailed by April 1st to qualify. Grant recipients are chosen and notified in early April. Award recipients are presented in person at the Club’s Annual Meeting held on Longboat Key on Earth Day at the end of April each year. Previous grant recipients must also email an Annual Report by March 15th detailing how the previous year’s grant was used. Photos are requested.
