Each year, the LBK Garden Club awards grants to tax-exempt organizations whose focus is on gardening and the environment. Grant amounts range from $100 to several thousand dollars at the Garden Club’s discretion.

Grant applications are due by March 1st of each year. Grant recipients are chosen and notified in early April. Award recipients are presented in person at the Club’s Annual Meeting held on Longboat Key at the end of April each year.

Previous grant recipients must provide an Annual Report by February 15th of the following year detailing how the previous year’s grant funds were used. Photos and/or a video are required. Failure to provide an Annual Report precludes recipients from receiving future LBKGC grants.
