Volunteer Information - Can you join us?
Have fun and make new friends!
We're delighted you’re interested in joining us and helping us fulfill our mission! As you may have read on our FAQ page, many of our members are avid gardeners but many others help the club in other important ways.
Here’s a list of possible volunteer opportunities that may interest you. Please check the ones you like and someone will get back to you soon to discuss your interests and availability.
I’m happy to help wherever I fit and am needed
Program Committee - Assists in identifying topics and speakers for our monthly meetings
Butterfly Garden - Assist in maintaining the butterfly garden at Bicentennial Park
Grants Committee - Promote grant program and evaluate applicant proposals
Field Trip Committee - Identify venues and organize local field trips
Scholarship Committee - Review applications and select recipients from students applying for scholarships
Social Committee - Participate in planning miscellaneous social events such as the annual holiday party
Fundraising Committee - Assist with planning and hosting fundraising events
Arbor Day & Beautification Committee - Assist with annual Arbor Day event and various beautification projects
Annual Directory Team - Assist in the development and distribution of the Club’s annual directory
Membership Team - Manage and promote membership in the Club
Newsletter Team - Write and electronically distribute the Club’s newsletter
Board Member - Serve on the Board and/or become an officer of the Club
