The Longboat Key Garden Club offers scholarships to recognize academic achievement and aid eligible sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are currently enrolled at a Florida accredited college or university.

Eligible students who are pursuing a degree in natural or marine sciences are encouraged to apply. Fields of study may include, but are not limited to Botany, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Marine Biology, Coastal Wetlands Preservation, Ecology, Pollinator Research and Photography.

Historically three or four scholarships have been awarded in the range of $5,000-$10,000. By awarding these scholarships, we hope to enhance the college experience for a well-qualified, hard-working student and to inspire him or her to pursue their dreams in their specialized field of study.
